new project

I went to a crop and learned about turning tiles into art.

Here is my first one I have done on my own. I would like to possibly master this and then add to the list of items that I would like to sell or give as gifts.

At first I thought this would be an easy quick thing to create and then sell...but mistakes are easy when you have to quickly make a decision on how a design should look.

my weekend

this weekend was blah. Friday I signed up for a crop, paid and everything, but when I got in my car to make the drive I did not want to go. I felt a little sick.

I went home, and the boys were at the skatepark, and the house was quiet. I could not relax.

Saturday I did not do much. Just stayed around the house watching lifetime movies.

Sunday I went to visit with my sister in law.

Now I am preparing to get into bed and call this weekend. The work week begins tomorrow, which is also Valentines day.

I think I might get into posting a video. So far this blogging thing is fun, even though I have no followers yet.

cricut and the bamboo

today I used the cricut and my new bamboo mouse together. I can now cut out my own personalized shapes, that I drew, with my cricut. How cool is that. I need to get used to using the mouse, but so far I am liking it.

pretty soon I am going to need to get blog savvy. I have seen others blogs and want mine like that, but I am far behind the curve.

I will keep working on it though. In a couple months I will look back on these posts and wonder how I ever never knew how to do this. lol

today

yesterday I asked a girl at my work some suggestions of what I would put on a blog. She told me that this is basically an on line Diary. I could say anything I want. so I guess that is what I will do. Today I am going to work and then when I get home I am going to try to fit in kids, husband, a show on tv, and scrapbooking.

Why is it so hard to fit everthing in? I am really bad about timing. It is funny that at work I am miss organized, and fast. But when I get home, when it should really matter, all sense of time leaves me and I end up falling short.

Like right now for instance. I have to be to work at 8:15....I know I need to shower and girlie up...which on any other day would take me an hour, but today I am going to force myself to do it in 10 mins. lol.

The question that I am going to put out there today is: If tiger is tigger, and pig is pigglet, and rabbit is rabbit, owl is owl, then why is Pooh not bear and Eyor not donkey? And, what kind of name is Winnie for a boy bear? Is Pooh a boy?

well, gotta go because now I have 8 mins.

newbie to the blogger world

hello...anyone out there that comes across my first post ever. I am new to this. I am creating this blog to gain new knowledge and to stamp my print on the internet. I want this blog to be a free place to talk about anything...but mainly it is for crafty new ideas pertaining to scrapbooking and jewlery making.


any ideas out there in the cyber world?  I would also like to come up with a better name...I am not sure how to change it....Craftin Cabin sounds MiseryISH.
